Modes of treatment Ayurveda: Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word meaning life science. Revolving around massage and application, and consumption of herbal ointments and medicines, experts say this ancient form of medicine can alleviate any symptoms associated with rheumatism, arthritis, migraine, paralysis and other physical ailment. Ayurvedic medical therapy has gained immense popularity among Gulf nationals, with many seeking solutions to several problems through this ancient Indian system of medicine. Acupuncture:
The word acupuncture came from the Latin. It’s a therapy where fine filiform needles are inserted into specific points on the body to relieve pain or for other treatment purposes. Homeopathy:
Homeopathy is a form of health care developed in Germany and has now gained currency in almost all the countries, especially the UAE. Homeopathy revolves around the concept of natural approach to healing by aiming to stimulate the body’s defense mechanism and processes to prevent or treat illnesses. Unani:
The genesis of Unani system of medicine can be traced back to Greece. It is based on principles of Galen, a Greek practitioner and after him, many Arab and Persian scholars have left indelible impression on the system. Among them Abu Sina, an Arab philosopher and Physicist who wrote 'Kitab-al-shifa' or 'Avicenna' was noteworthy. This system earlier known as Galenic, later became Unani, Arabic name for Greek. It is a form of treatment wherein a person is observed as to how he is being influenced by surroundings and conditions. Unanipathy has shown remarkable results in curing diseases like Arthritis, Leucoderma, Jaundice, Bronchial Asthma, Filariasis and several other acute and chronic diseases where other systems do not give the desired level of positive response.

Greek:
The Greek branch is very similar to Ayurveda as both deal with the relative balance of certain vital fluids or humors.  Greek Medicine’s vital therauptic objective is to improve basic constitutional strength, resilience and resistance to diseases.  The methods and modalities employed for treatment are also quite similar to that of Ayurveda, where diet comes first, followed by simple herbal remedies, lifestyle modification, massage and bodywork, hygienic purification treatments and exercises/ gymnastics/ yoga.

Allopathy:
Allopathy is a mode of treating an illness by the use of agents that produce effects different from those of the disease treated. The term 'allopathy' was invented by the German physician Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843). It is derived from the Greek words allo, (meaning opposite) and pathos (meaning suffering) and presently known as the Modern System of Medicine.  The therapy focuses more on treating the symptoms of diseases primarily through prescribed drugs. Allopathy or Modern System of Medicine is practiced by physicians, who graduate from medical school and suffix MD with their names. Despite numerous options of treatment available currently, Allopathy remains to be the most desired among the people world over, especially UAE. In fact, UAE has infinite numbers of allopathic centres offering best services.
