Education has been given prime importance in the UAE ever since the establishment of the Federation. Today, the UAE offers a comprehensive education from kindergarten (pre-school playgroup) to university. The government of the UAE has taken special interest in the education sector where nationals are being provided free education at all levels through government schools, colleges and universities. There is also widespread private education sector that accounts to almost 40 per cent of the student population. The younger generation have easy access quality education right from the beginning to higher education at both federally-funded or internationally accredited private institutions that are being established throughout the UAE
